These terms govern your use of Kohunter, operated by Vincent Morin, based in Portugal. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Kohunter estimates the chip value of a knockout bounty in tournament poker, from either a quick-interpolated simulation curve ("fast mode") or an exact calculation from numbers read off a screenshot you provide ("precise mode"). It is an informational calculation tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any poker room, and it never automates play, reads a poker client's memory, or interacts with a poker room in any way — it works from numbers already visible on your screen.
Kohunter's output is an estimate or a calculation based on the inputs you give it (or that a screenshot-reading step extracts, which can itself be wrong). It is provided "as is", with no guarantee of accuracy, and is not a recommendation to make any specific play or wager. You are solely responsible for any decision you make at the table, including ones informed by this tool. Poker involves real financial risk — only use Kohunter alongside your own judgment, never as a substitute for it.
You must be legally permitted to play the poker formats Kohunter covers in your jurisdiction, and old enough to do so under your local law.
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial (a payment method is required to start it, but nothing is charged until the trial ends — cancel anytime before then and you won't be billed). After the trial, paid plans are billed through Stripe (currently €14.99/month or €149.99/year, shown in full before you subscribe — pricing may change for future billing periods, with notice). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal linked in your account; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Contact us at 20cent.morin@gmail.com for billing issues or a refund request — handled case by case while we're in early access.
Screenshot reads (precise mode, the Mystery bounty helper) call a paid third-party API on our end, so reasonable rate limits apply to stop one account from driving disproportionate cost. Don't script or automate calls to Kohunter, attempt to bypass its rate limits, or use it to scrape or resell our calibration data.
Kohunter's code, simulation models and calibration data are ours. Your own inputs and uploaded screenshots remain yours — uploading one to Kohunter only grants us the right to process it to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy for how it's stored and used).
We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms (including sharing access or abusing rate limits), or that we reasonably believe puts the service or other users at risk. You can stop using Kohunter and ask us to delete your account at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kohunter and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including money lost or foregone from a poker decision — arising from your use of the service. The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, email active accounts.
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.
